KDRV INTERVIEW

Eat Local!

"Did you know that eating local honey may provide some relief from seasonal allergies due to the small amounts of pollen in the honey. So, how does it work? Local bees make local honey, which means the pollen they collect and bring back to the hive is all sourced from local plants. Since many seasonal allergies are caused by these same plants, eating honey that contains that pollen can possibly combat those allergies. Pretty cool, right?

Let us know if you need some local honey to combat those allergies." 🍯 - Brett Strike
